TUCKAHOE PROJECT – Vision & Craftsmanship – Parade of Homes 2014

This 1974, 1400 SF, brick rancher was found abandoned in 2004.  For six years the two bedroom, one-bath house, sat unattended and neglected, overcome by raccoons, snakes and other critters, open to the weather and surrounding natural elements.  Michael Harvey Homes redesigned and renovated this structurally sound house to a craftsman post and beam home. Using the expansive attic space, two large bedrooms, a full bath and loft were created adding 750 square feet of living space. The two existing bedrooms on the 1st level were combined with the original bathroom space to make a luxurious owner’s suite and powder room. An expansive outdoor living space was also created with a cathedral cedar ceiling, and screened porch flanked by two large elevated decks.
